TSCRA’s 2014 Fall Meeting ended Friday with a board of director’s meeting at the Sheraton at the Capitol. Attendees heard from association officers and leaders about TSCRA activities and priority issues, including what business may be before the Texas legislature in the not-too-distant future. The crowd also heard from guest speaker Evan Smith, editor in chief and CEO of The Texas Tribune, about upcoming elections and the political climate in Texas.
TSCRA’s next meeting will be the 2015 Cattle Raisers Convention and Expo March 27-29 in Fort Worth.
