TSCRA Special Ranger Sonny Seewald, Dist. 26 in Central Texas Hill Country reports the theft of 3 cows and a calf from a property in southwest Bexar County. Sometime between Feb. 12 and 13 a thief or thieves cut a chain on a gate and used existing pens to load 3 branded cows and an unbranded calf. Stolen was a white muley, or hornless, cow; a red and white face cow; a white cow with horns; and a brown calf. The cows have a connected VR brand on the left hip, but the brown calf was unbranded.
