New online 'antibiotic use in cattle' resources available now

The beef industry often gets questions on the use of antibiotics in raising beef. Antibiotics continue to be a hot topic and, often, a confusing one. To help provide some answers, the beef checkoff has created a new fact sheet for you based on the questions asked most often.

  • Beef production claims – including “Antibiotic Free” and “Raised without Antibiotics”
  • Information on common misconceptions about antibiotics use on ranches and farms
