More than 500 attend TSCRA Ranch Gatherings in Oklahoma and Texas

More than 500 association members, friends and guests attended ranch gatherings in Bartlesville, Wagoner and Stillwater, Okla., and Brenham, Texas, last week.

In Oklahoma, attendees heard from TSCRA Special Rangers Bart Perrier and John Cummings on law enforcement activities and tips on avoiding becoming a victim of agricultural crime. Thanks to Novartis Animal Health for sponsoring and providing the meals for the events.

At the gathering in Brenham, attendees heard from Special Ranger Doug Hutchison, who spoke about local law enforcement activities, and TSCRA Director of Public Affairs Laramie Adams, who spoke about legislative issues important to cattle raisers and landowners.

Thanks to Curtis Younts and Derek Frenzel for their hard work on the event. Appreciation also goes to event sponsors Producers Cooperative Assocation, Mix 30 by Agridyne, Lincoln Financial Advisors and Capital Farm Credit. Special thanks to Boehringer-Ingelheim, Vetmedica for providing the meal.

We still have quite a few gatherings scheduled on the coming weeks, including:

Oct. 22 in Ozona; Oct. 24 in Floresville; Oct. 28 in Cranfills Gap and Uvalde; Oct. 29 in San Antonio; Oct. 30 in Beaumont; Nov. 11 in San Angelol Nov. 12 in Georgetown; and Nov. 13 in Conroe.

Be sure to check our event calendar at tscra.org for more information and to RSVP.
