Tropical Depression Harvey has re-formed in the southern Gulf of Mexico. The northward forecast track makes landfall over the central Texas coastline on Thursday night or Friday morning.
Upon landfall, Harvey is expected to pause for a period of time before being caught up in the upper flow and transported northeast. This will result in the prospects of extremely heavy rainfall across Southeast Texas, much of Louisiana, and parts of surrounding states.
