Information for East Texas ranchers with missing or found cattle

Law enforcement officials in the East Texas area hit by recent tornadoes are asking ranchers that have lost or found livestock to report these findings to the sheriff after checking with neighbors. Lost or found livestock with brands should also be reported to TSCRA Special Ranger Jimmy Dickson. County agents and sheriff departments also have a list of registered brands for their reference and will assist when possible. For further information or questions, please contact Special Ranger Dickson at 903-586-8733. The Van Zandt County website has additional information regarding disaster recovery assistance available here.
