Get an inside peek at the legislative process at YLS event in Austin

TSCRA’s Young Leadership Series (YLS) is hosting a meeting in Austin April 19 and 20 that will focus on the politics and the cattle industry in the Lone Star State. Learn about legislative issues, how TSCRA participates in the legislative process, and how you can contribute. You’ll also get the chance to visit with your legislators as we visit the Capitol. This will be an exciting event that only comes around every other year!
The TSCRA Young Leadership Series (YLS) aids in the development of new TSCRA leaders. Designed for interested individuals from 19 to 40 years of age, YLS engages and educates young people on current industry issues. It provides hands-on experience through direct contact with elected officials and media. YLS participants serve as TSCRA’s quick-response team on hot issues. Our next leaders will emerge from the YLS program. We are proud to provide a social and professional network for young people on and off of the ranch.
