It appears the National Bio- and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) will receive the $300 million in federal funding needed to complete construction in Manhattan, Kan. After a contentious fight over the Obama administration’s immigration policy, the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday voted 257 to 167 in favor of the $40 billion bill, which finds the Department of Homeland Security, including $300 million for the NBAF.
