Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Ranger Larry Hand, District 13 in East Texas, reports 23 registered Black Angus, heavy-bred cows missing from a property southwest of Wills Point.
Brands could include:
- Fire brand “T over K” connected on right side
- Fire brand “K over A” connected on right side
- Fire brand “J over P” connected on right side
- Freeze brand “M” over an animal number on the left side
All have or had ear tag numbers. The cattle were last seen Aug. 1. Hand is assisting Van Zandt County deputies with the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact Hand at 903-571-3488 or the Operation Cow Thief tip line at 817-916-1775.
