Cattle Raisers Elect New Board Members at TSCRA Convention

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – New directors were elected to the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Board of Directors at the 135th Annual convention.
New directors include Dustin Dean, College Station; Wesley Welch, Lubbock; and Curtis A. Younts Jr., Belton.
New executive committee members include Robert E. McKnight Jr., Fort Davis; Richard Thorpe III, Winters; and Arthur G. Uhl III, San Antonio.
Alan McNeill, Beaumont; John Welch, Lubbock; and W.C. “Billy” Williams, Mertzon were elected as honorary directors.
All members with honorary titles serve as ex officio members of the board.

TSCRA is a 135 year-old trade association and is the largest and oldest livestock organization based in Texas. TSCRA has more than 15,000 beef cattle operations, ranching families and businesses as members. These members represent approximately 50,000 individuals directly involved in ranching and beef production who manage 4 million head of cattle on 76 million acres of range and pasture land primarily in Texas and Oklahoma, but throughout the Southwest.
