Cattle drive for Harvey victims

By Colton Daniels, Circle Bar Ranch
If you are a rancher or farmer like me, it’s hard to find time to help when natural disaster strikes because of our daily life, duties and obligations to our livestock at home! I’m sending this notice out to all TSCRA members that would like to help after the destruction of Hurricane Harvey in South Texas.
Trinity Oaks, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps feed the homeless, veterans, and needy families of Texas, is diverting all their resources to help feed volunteers and shelters who are helping the victims of Hurricane Harvey. They are averaging close to 1,500 hot meals a day not including the food they are sending to various shelters.
Therefore, we offered to do an old-fashioned cattle drive to help supply beef to needy victims! In just a couple of days I’ve already raised close to 10 beef animals from neighbors in my area and will start transporting next week to the processing plant near San Antonio.
If you are interested in helping with this effort please contact me the numbers below, or by email.
Trinity Oaks will provide a receipt for the value of your contribution for tax purposes.
