More than 300 attended ranch gatherings in Kaufman and Center this week. During each event, attendees enjoyed a great beef meal and updates on legislative issues and local law enforcement activities.
Mike McCravey, industry relations manager for Texas Beef Council updated attendees on the beef checkoff. Thanks to Kaufman County AgriLife Extension Agent Ralph Davis and TSCRA member Mandy Dauses for their support of the event in Kaufman. Special thanks also go to Will Baty with Texas Farm Credit and Lane Dunn, Shelby County AgriLife Extension agent, for their hard work and support of our event in Center.
