Attend ranch gathering in Corpus Christi on Sept. 11

TSCRA will host a ranch gathering Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Corpus Christi Yacht Club in Corpus Christi. Attendees will enjoy a free beef dinner and presentations from TSCRA Special Ranger Steve Martin, who will discuss how to keep their livestock and equipment safe from theft and Texas Beef Council staff will provide an update on the Texas beef checkoff. TSCRA Executive Vice President Eldon White also will update cattle raisers on important legislative issues. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m.

To get to the Corpus Christi Yacht Club from Corpus Christi, head west on I-37 N. Take exit 1E for Nueces Bay Blvd/Lawrence Drive. Turn right on TX-544/Mesquite Street. After .6 of a mile, turn left onto Coopers Alley. After .3 of a mile, the Yacht Club will be on the left.

The ranch gathering is sponsored by Novartis Animal Health, Mastrapasqua Asset Management, Capital Farm Credit and Wortham Insurance and Risk Management. Anyone who joins TSCRA at the gathering will receive a free metal gate sign courtesy of Bayer Animal Health and New Holland Agriculture.
