Association events held in Victoria and Mineola

More than 150 ranchers joined TSCRA for events in Victoria and Mineola last week. The PumpHouse Riverside Restaurant hosted a luncheon on Friday, where attendees learned about the proposed Texas Beef Checkoff. Guests enjoyed a Flat Iron steak and heard about how the checkoff helped develop that cut. Thanks to our hosts John Zacek, Bob McCan, Tim Pennell, Milton Greeson, Michael Manning, Stephen Diebel, David Crow, Thurman Clements, T. Michael O’Connor, Bill Blackwell, Bob Gayle and Vance Mitchell. TSCRA also teamed up with Cross Brand Cowboy Church, Tyler, on Saturday for a trail ride and luncheon. After a morning of trail riding, attendees learned about Operation Cow Thief and other TSCRA activities. Thanks to Novartis Animal Health, Texas Farm Credit and Heritage Land Bank for their sponsorship.
