As part of a collaborative effort, the Texas Beef Council (TBC), Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and TSCRA recently hosted a Texas Beef Quality Assurance Producer (TBQP) update for more than 45 Texas Department of Criminal Justice ranch managers. The mission of the TBQP program is to promote good management practices for cattle producers in an effort to strengthen consumer confidence in beef as a wholesome food product.
