Today’s food labels have enough information for 74 percent of consumers, according to a survey conducted by the International Food Information Council (IFIC). The Consumers Perceptions of Food Technology survey evaluated what consumers knew and desired in the government-mandated food labels, a policy with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) oversight.
