450-plus cattle raisers attended this week’s ranch gatherings

More than 450 members and guests attended TSCRA ranch gatherings in Kaufman, Franklin and Seymour this week. Attendees heard from their local special ranger about law enforcement activities and from other guest speakers.

In Kaufman and Franklin, TSCRA Executive Vice President and CEO Eldon White updated attendees on issues affecting landowners and cattle raisers.

In Seymour, CattleFax CEO Randy Blach gave attendees a great presentation on the future of the cattle industry.

Special thanks go to businesses that sponsor the Ranch Gatherings. The Kaufman gathering was sponsored by Elanco Animal Health, Legacy Ag Credit and EDC Ag Products. Special thanks go to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Agent Ralph Davis for his support of the program.

Franklin was hosted by Circle X Land and Cattle at their Camp Cooley facility. Sponsors were Elanco Animal Health, Producers Cooperative Association, Multimin, Inc., Capital Farm Credit and Lone Star Ag Credit.

TSCRA Special Ranger Scott Williamson hosted the event in Seymour, which drew more than 250 attendees. Our gracious sponsors made this great event possible – Zoetis, Capital Farm Credit, Elanco Animal Health, Mix 30 by Agridyne, Livestock Nutrition Center, Texas Range Minerals and Spitzer Animal Health.

Thanks to all of the members and guests who attended our events and welcome to the new TSCRA members who joined at the ranch gatherings.
