Ranch gatherings held in Alpine and Paris

More than 225 ranchers, friends and guests attended ranch gatherings in Alpine and Paris this week. In Alpine, attendees enjoyed a great meal provided by Johnson Feed and Western Wear. TSCRA Special Ranger Dave Duncan gave an update on law enforcement activities. TSCRA staff gave a legislative update and TSCRA member Amanda Dyer spoke about how important it is for members to get involved. TSCRA Second Vice President Bobby McKnight wrapped up the meeting by urging non-members to join. Sponsors included Johnson Feed and Western Wear and Texas Range Minerals.

At the gathering in Paris, TSCRA Special Ranger Toney Hurley gave the law enforcement update and TSCRA staff gave a legislative update. TSCRA President Pete Bonds talked about his experiences with the association and encouraged non-members to join. Thanks go to Lamar County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Agent Mike Morrow for his help  and for acting as emcee. Sponsors included Multimin, Inc., Lone Star Ag Credit, Paris Livestock Auction, Cattlemen’s Livestock Commission and EDC Ag Products, LLC. Be sure to check our event calendar at tscra.org to see if we have an event scheduled in your area.
