Gain firsthand experience in the day-to-day functions of the association, exposure to all departments, and support the association’s mission and daily operations. There will also be opportunities to join us in hosting educational events for both youth and adults, attending functions we are sponsors or supporters of, and other events as needed. This is a paid internship, and multiple positions may be available for the right candidates. TSCRA Austin Government Relations Internship: January – MayA full-time internship in Austin that provides experience advocating for TSCRA members at the Texas Capitol. Interns will help monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory issues, coordinate events and support the association’s government relations efforts during the 90th Legislative Session of Texas. TSCRA Austin Government Relations Law Internship: January – MayA full-time Austin internship for current law students or recent law school graduates. Interns will work with the government relations team at the Texas Capitol and gain experience reviewing and writing legislation, monitoring policy issues and interacting with elected officials, staff, lobbyists and agricultural leaders during the 90th Legislative Session of Texas.Internship Placement Program:Through expressing your interests in this application and based on skills and experience, we will work to fit the right candidate with one of our member ranches or business partner members who have chosen to participate in the program.
