USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Texas has announced that offices in Wharton and Edna are closed due to damage from Hurricane Harvey. USDA FSA employees have relocated to offices in neighboring counties.
Wharton County FSA employees have relocated to offices in Colorado and Matagorda Counties.
- Wharton County farm program staff will work out of the Colorado County FSA office located at 2209 Walnut in Columbus; Office hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For disaster assistance, to file a Notice of Loss, report farm damage, or other FSA farm program related needs, contact the staff at (979) 532-0567, ext. 2.
- Wharton County farm loan staff will work out of the Matagorda County FSA office located at 1006 Avenue F, Suite 2A, in Bay City; Office hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. To apply for an emergency loan or for farm loan information, contact staff at (979) 245-1201, ext. 5276.
- Wharton County FSA will notify producers when the office is scheduled to reopen.

Jackson County FSA employees have relocated to the office in Victoria County.
- Jackson County FSA staff will work out of the Victoria County FSA office, located at 307 Glasgow, Suite B, in Victoria; Office hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For disaster assistance, to file a Notice of Loss, report farm damage, apply for an emergency loan, or other FSA program-related needs, contact staff at (361) 576-1129, ext 2.
