TSCRA Crime Watch: Cattle missing in Texas Panhandle

TSCRA Special Ranger Harold Dempsey, Dist. 1 in the Texas Panhandle, reports the theft of 14 head of cattle from a property in Carson County some time between May 29 and the first week of July. Stolen were 2 mature black bulls, both 4 to 5 years old, weighing approximately 1800 pounds, each. Also stolen were 12 mature black cows, all 5 to 10 years old, weighing 1200 to 1300 pounds, each. All 14 cattle have a “B bar over C” brand on the left hip and a red tag in the left ear.
