TSCRA testifies at eminent domain hearing in Austin

The Texas House Land and Resource Management Committee held a hearing Monday at the Texas State Capitol in Austin regarding eminent domain issues relating to oil and gas pipeline activities. Clayton Henry, a TSCRA member from Wichita Falls, delivered testimony on behalf of TSCRA and stressed the importance of protecting private property rights in oil and gas pipeline condemnation cases. Henry serves on TSCRA’s Legislative and Tax Committee. Also in attendance for TSCRA was Director Arthur Uhl, chairman of the Legislative and Tax Committee; TSCRA Director Jamie Donnell; and TSCRA Member James Uhl.
