District 3 includes Caddo, Canadian, Carter, Cleveland, Comanche, Custer, Garvin, Grady, Hughes, Johnston, Kiowa, Love, Marshall, McClain, Murray, Oklahoma, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Seminole, Stephens, and Washita Counties.

Cornett has more than 18 years of law enforcement experience. He served as an Oklahoma game warden for 14 years; 2 years as an investigator for the Woodward County Sheriff’s Office; and most recently as a special agent for the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, where he investigated cattle theft and other agriculture-related crime.
