CME Group: Beef exports up 7 percent in first 2 months

The CME Group says that by judging from the trade data for the first 2 months of the year, U.S. beef export demand remains in good shape. Total shipments continue to track above year ago levels despite sharply higher prices in the U.S. market. A weaker dollar has blunted some of the impact of higher U.S. beef prices, but not entirely.
